Traitors?

According to this poll...16% of Utahn Democrats are turning on their party to vote for McCain! Also, independents are split 45% to 47% in their decision to vote for either Obama or McCain.  Even if nearly 50% of the undecided/independent votes Obama, McCain will still win this state.

50 Days Out!

Even without Mormon Mitt on the ticket, the Republicans are sure to take Utah in this election.  If Utah citizens voted today, McCain would win by a landslide.  To be exact, the polls say that McCain is currently leading over Obama in Utah 62% to 23%. Utah, mainly due to its high Mormon population is largely Republican and is now considered the reddest state.  According to NationalJournal.com, Utah has not elected a Democratic governor since 1980, nor has it elected a Democrat for president since 1964.  Unless we see pigs fly, Utah goes to the Republican ticket this time...and probably next time too.

Lipstick on a Pig...
